We are Wild at Heart, a collective of four Moroccan visual storytellers brought together by a shared curiosity and a deep commitment to human-centered documentation. Operating across long-term research and fieldwork, we focus on stories that explore our environment, from shifting agricultural economies to the unseen realities of waste management and climate impact.

Guided by the belief that Stories are a bridge that transcends barriers, our practice is rooted in radical humility and empathy. We draw from our lived realities, convinced that by acknowledging our shared humanity, documentation can challenge indifference and demand equality.

This core philosophy was forged under the guidance of our mentors, Maggie Steber and the late Sara Terry. They instilled in us that true documentation requires immense humility, and that every time we point a lens, it must be driven by a genuine quest to understand. From them, we inherited a legacy of transmission a conviction that our work must always prioritize sincere, non-transactional human connection over ego, honoring the communities we photograph with the exact empathy they taught us.
